One of those days: Personal journaling

It looks like today is one of those days.

My Beagle, Zack, is acting like he has a belly ache or gas and will
not leave me alone today. He is almost 13 and definitely acts like his
mind is going, I am afraid. There are times he demands a lot of
attention. It is like he forgets he just got some attention and
forgets we are here. He also gets jumpy and flighty. Poor guy. It can
be upsetting for us both.

So, I am suck on the couch with my Amazon Kindle Fire HE 4G and will
try to get journaling and blogging done here.

I cannot do Google+ stuff, though. My cell is having issues. Ugh.

There is a reason. I know that. And I would not trade the snuggling
time with the dog.

I just wish he felt better.

Sinan My Writing Helper

Note where my mouse is. When I went to move it, I got pawed by my helper.

I do not know if my writing was terrible and he was saving me from myself. Or, if he wanted to get my attention. Then again, maybe he was just being cat. Enough said? Lol.

Writing Help--or Obstacles?

Here it is 10:24 a.m. and I am still in my pj's. (Gotta love the full-time writing thing!) I am trying to get a lot of writing done and do not want to stop for a bit to change. I am not even getting up for coffee--and that is saying something!

Evidently, someone (Sinan the Terrible. Cat. Lol.) thought I was working too hard and decided to be cute (he's good at that!).

"Whatcha doin?" Sinan asked as he hung from the back on desk chair--with me sitting in it (see the pink pj's).

Me: "You're--not--helping!" I say in a high and cute voice he seems to like.

In the meanwhile... Zack Beagle is bored with my writing--as usual.

And you can see the shelf that needs organizing and the rice sock I threw to the floor when I got too hot (sore back).

And, how do I get writing done with this handful?

So, is he a helper or an obstacle? I think I am going to take his cue that I need to go get dressed and get coffee and then try another round of intense writing.

So, what do you do with writing obstacles? Do you allow them to be an obstacle--or do you turn it into a benefit and something positive?

Happy Friday

Happy Friday!

I wanted to show you some more pictures of my writing space and writing companions (and inspiration).

This is Sinan (pronounced See-naw-n). Is he paperweight, supervisor, wise guy, muse, or curious cat? Maybe a little of each.

Should I take a hint about my writing today? (This is Zack.)

This is another angle of my writing space and you can see the turtle tank. (Shelly is being a goof and if you look really hard, you can see Harry.)

Those are all of our 4-legged kids. We do not have any 2-legged yet.

The cat is still perched on the corner of my desk. Now that there is room for him to sit, thanks to my paperless method, he seems quite content. Hopefully he won't play with the cursor or walk across my keyboard.

Have a blessed weekend!
